| Description: The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) wishes to construct two new staircases, one on the inbound platform and one on the outbound platform, at the Suffolk Downs Station located in Boston, MA.
The contractor will supply a full time Contractor Representative that will be the main point of contact for all operations. This person will have the authority and expertise to direct the contractor’s operations as necessary to complete the scope of work within the bounds of the MBTA operational requirements.
Work elements that shall be incidental to the work items listed shall include, but not limited to, Mobilization/Demobilization, Limiting Impacts to MBTA Operations, Traffic and Parking Staging and Mitigation, Maintaining Pedestrian Access, Temporary Signage, Sweeping, and Site Restoration.
The work is to be substantially completed, involving opening of both stairs to the public, 11 months following issuance of a Purchase Order by the MBTA.

| Description: Display Screens Maintenance & Repair
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (“MBTA” or “Authority”) is seeking responsive bids for a 3-year contract with 2, 1-year MBTA options, for the maintenance and repair of stationary real-time passenger information digital signage (“screens”) and associated subcomponents including enclosures/mounting infrastructure, solar power kits, and wiring/cabling. Screens are installed in various contexts in stations and at bus stops across the MBTA service area. Screens originate from various display manufacturers and employ one of two display technologies – liquid crystal display (LCD) or e-paper. Currently, there are currently 241 installed screens, and approximately 261 additional screens to be installed by the end of 2026, totaling approximately 502 screens within this contract.
This bid will be conducted only through COMMBUYS. www.commbuys.com .
Responding Bidders are required to comply with all applicable credentialing requirements, Bid Submittals and Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations. The procurement will follow MGL 30 39M (construction). Bidders are required to certify with their bid submission that they are not on the MA Comptroller General’s list of ineligible contractors.
