Design Build (DB) Services for GL C Branch Short Term Accessibility Improvements

MBTA Contract No. A26CN04
The purpose of the GL C Branch Station Accessibility Upgrade Project is to create accessible station platforms for nine (9) station locations along Beacon Street in the Town of Brookline on the C-Branch. The project aims to bring all nine (9) station locations into compliance with FTA, ADA, NFPA, MAAB, and all applicable MBTA regulations, guidelines, and design directives. The stations included in the design are Hawes Street, Kent Street, Saint Paul Street, Summit Avenue, Brandon Hall, Fairbanks Street, Tappan Street, Dean Road, and Englewood Avenue.
Request For Letters of Interest (RFLOI)
LOI Submittal: One electronic copy of an LOI from Design Build Entities or firms interested in receiving a notice of the availability of the RFQ should be received by the MBTA on August 7, 2024.
All responses must be submitted via email to altdelivery@mbta.com with the subject line labeled "Letter of Interest – A26CN04 ".
LOIs must provide a mailing address, telephone number, and email address for each Design Build Entity's designated primary contact to ensure that a notice of the RFQ's availability will be received by the interested Design Build Entity. Design Build Entities are advised to provide an email address for a secondary contact, in case the primary contact is inaccessible.
