Scope of Work:
Work consists of the following at both garages: Concrete repairs to slabs, beams, walls, columns and CIP deck toppings; electrical and lighting repairs; replacement of storm drainage systems; new CCTV/security systems; construction/expansion of a parking offices; waterproofing, façade cleaning and restriping of parking spaces and accessible parking; site work including paving, new crosswalks and sidewalks; replacement of fire standpipe systems; and new pedestrian and traffic wayfinding signage. At Braintree garage, work also includes: construction of a new elevator/stair tower; construction of a temporary parking lot; demolition of a pedestrian bridge and construction of new canopies and emergency generator. At Quincy Adams garage, work also includes: construction of a new bicycle storage facility; replacement of porcelain metal cladding system at atrium stairs, bridges and escalators; replacement of stair treads; site improvements along the existing 5th level emergency access bridge; repairs to the Centre Street bridge; and replacement of the atrium fiberglass roof. Work at North Quincy Station includes: toilet room renovation and installation of new sanitary lines.
