Scope of Work:
Work consists of the reconstruction of the Neponset River Railroad Bridge, Bridge No. B-16-472 at Milepost (MP) 220.78 including, but not limited to, demolition of existing structures, construction of new steel bridge spans, construction of new reinforced concrete bridge abutments, and removal of an existing concrete center pier in the Neponset River. The work will include temporary repairs to the existing concrete center pier to facilitate the stage 1 construction. The work also includes preparation of new railroad track bed subgrades for raising the track profile over the replacement bridge.
