Scope of Work
The work consists of the repair and rehabilitation of the existing standpipes at Braintree Station on the Red Line. All repairs will be performed in accordance with the Massachusetts Existing Building Code (MEBC) and the Massachusetts Comprehensive Fire Safety Code. The repairs will rehabilitate the standpipe system, improve the ability to test and maintain the system and provide for greater firefighting capacity with an increased water supply.
