Scope of Work
Work at the new Littleton Commuter Rail Station will consist of improvements to the existing location to include construction of an 800 foot long, high level, center island platform, a platform canopy, a pedestrian overpass, platform access ramps, a lighting system, a variable message sign system, signage, sidewalks, a drop off area and plaza, parking lot entrance widening and other site improvements, features and elements necessary to create a fully accessible and functional commuter rail station. These improvements will be made while the existing Littleton Station continues to function. This Contract is subject to a financial assistance Contract between the MBTA and the Federal Transit Administration of U.S. Department of Transportation. FTA Participation 100 percent under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009.
