Scope of Work
Work in general consists of reconstructing three undergrade railroad bridges over local roadways on the New Bedford Main Line as part of the Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) funding received under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The railroad bridge replacements include undergrade bridges at Deane Street, Sawyer Street, and Coggeshall Street in the City of New Bedford. Work also includes track improvements over the bridges, retaining wall repair and reconstruction, and reconstruction of roadways and adjacent intersections.
